Abstract:

If everybody is convinced that the digitization of lighting has been a true progress and that the future of lighting is HD lighting, we are certainly much less aligned for what regards the use cases of HD lighting: it is great for cool communication and fancy welcome scenarios but we must also think about our mission, not to say our responsibility: Enhance safety of nighttime driving.
This is what Valeo had in mind when developing the first off-the-shelf full HD High Beam module.
